Another Blog by a Smiling Writer

I've done it again. Gotten a bee in my bonnet, as a friend would say, and started a new blog. Where the time will come from to keep it going is still a mystery, but try I will!

For a couple years now I've really delved into natural, whole foods, and pursued information on real organic foods and the organic label. From this interest, I developed a passion for understanding the whole food for healing concept, and I've been learning a great deal. It's fascinating!

Some of you know that I was diagnosed with stage 2 cancer in 2006, and through that experience I began learning about the importance of hormone balance. I had an estrogen-based cancer, and learned that women hold excess estrogen in their fat cells. Since that discovery, I have been learning the connection between wholesome foods, hormone health, and the devastating and debilitating effects of so many of today's food additives, preservatives and artificial flavorings.

And all that has brought me to this new blog, Healthy Edibles - Delicious Victuals. Although I've learned a lot about the aforementioned subjects, I don't pretend that I know enough to teach anyone. However, I would love to share some of my knowledge and experiences in the best way I know how... through humor and my writing.

I've written movie and book reviews for many years, and now I'm planning on melding my skill with my passion for healthy, healing foods. Thus the new blog! Healthy Edibles - Delicious Victuals will be a place for me to post personal reviews and endorsements of really good, healthy and healing foods and drinks that taste great...I won't sacrifice taste and enjoyment of food and beverages for health, or vice versa, any longer, and none of us should!

So, I hope you will join me over at Healthy Edibles - Delicious Victuals, and share your thoughts and opinions with us all! Once the blog reaches 100 members/subscribers, I will begin product giveaways and drawings...so please sign up for the blog posts, become a member, and let's have some fun, discover new and great foods -- and get healthy at the same time!
